Turkish men are wearing miniskirts to campaign for women’s rights

Men in Turkey have been marching and posing for photographs in miniskirts this week to campaign for women’s right as protests spread across the country.

The protests have been in response to the murder of a young woman – Ozgecan Aslan. The 20-year-old student was abducted and clubbed to death by a bus driver who had also allegedly tried to rape her.
